    Early Life (paragraph)
    Iqbal Sayed’s father; Rashid Sayed moved from Latur, Maharashtra to Mumbai in early 1970’s to explore the new job and business opportunities and settled here. His family still holds the bonds with their native place. His mother Naazparven (Lanjekar) Sayed belongs to Ratnagiri, Maharasathra.
    Iqbal was born in Mumbai (then Bombay) in a Muslim Family. He completed all his elementary schooling and engineering education from Mumbai University. He is an alumnus of M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engg, Byculla.
    Post engineering; he was interested in writing UPSC exams as him being an IAS officer was his father’s dream. Later, he continued with his MBA in Infrastructures Development & Management and continued to work as a Construction Engineer and then promoted to Construction Manager.
    At present, Iqbal works as a Senior Construction Manager and handles the profile of Project coordination and Management in Reliance Infrastructures’ Mumbai Metro One Project. His immediate reporting Manager is Mr Abhay Kumar Mishra (CEO – Reliance Metro Business and President – Reliance Transportation; an IES,retd all India Rank 1 Officer)
    His life’s turning point came when he competed for his life’s first bodybuilding competition Mr Mumbai (Mumbai Shree, 9th January 2016) where he secured Bronze Medal.
    And today he is an IFBB Pro League Athlete representing India at the international platforms and has become very fast a household name in the Indian Fitness Industry. He has won Silver Medal in Mr Olympia Amateur, Asia at Hong Kong in December 2016.
    He has also held Silver Medal in Mr India – Classic Physique 2017 and Second runner up in Mr Asia 2017

    Fitness Journey Details (How the Fitness Journey Started).
    When it comes to bodybuilding and fitness sports, it’s all out of his passion. Rather, it’s a “passion driven in his blood”. His Dad is the first body builder; he grew up seeing lifting weights, so love with the iron is in his family hierarchy.
    While continuing his corporate work profile, he was always a fitness enthusiast. He would not miss his gym sessions and would try attending any fitness seminar and workshop happening. `
    His life’s turning point came when he did his own transformation and competed for his life’s first bodybuilding competition Mr Mumbai (Mumbai Shree, 9th January 2016) where he secured Bronze Medal. And that seems to be the kick start of his fitness journey.
    Later the same year he competed for Mr Ghatkopar, Mr Jr Maharashtra and Mr Andheri where he was placed Bronze, Silver and Gold respectively.
    And today he is an IFBB Pro League Athlete representing India at the international platforms. He has won Silver Medal in Mr Olympia Amateur, Asia at Hong Kong in December 2016. He has also held Silver Medal in Mr India – Classic Physique 2017 and Second runner up in Mr Asia 2017. This has given him the confidence he needed to be successful in all areas of his life including being a top athlete in the fitness industry, while quickly becoming a household name in fitness industry.
    Iqbal believes in imparting and spreading the knowledge he has received, and taking fitness to a larger level making it available to everyone. He has helped several people online in transformations.

    Career Details:
    Iqbal holds Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with MBA in Infrastructures Development & Management: He had received a campus placement with L&T – an Indian construction giant, in their building construction division. But he chose to work with a Dubai based Venture into ready-made steel sector. And then moved to Reliance Infrastructure Mumbai Metro One Project in April 2011. He has productively worked in site execution, estate management, contracts management, stakeholders’ management, project coordination and management divisions.
    Iqbal is also a very good motivational orator where he conducts motivational and grooming seminars ad workshop for engineering students.
    He still continues with his existing corporate profile of Senior Construction Manager with Reliance, while competing for national and international level fitness and bodybuilding competitions. He has in addition started his online programme for diet management, training and contest preparation.
    His hobbies also include writing poems on Sufism.
